From Jayson on 10/2/05:
I like him, though his image is somewhat lacking in good taste. I'm a retired USAF, I think you know where I am coming from. He did not influence me into becoming a Bounty Hunter. I have always been interested in the field. It is one of the oldest professions stemming form the western days. I watch his show on a weekly basis. There is a problem in the state of Florida....it does not allow Bounty Hunters, Bail Enforcement Officer. That is to say you are not allowed to freelance unless you are the Bail Bond Agent of the bond. Also, you can be charged with Stalking in the state of FL unless you have a Privet Eye license. I am unable to obtain it because the state will not recognize I was working for a privet eye security agency from another state over 20 years ago. I am still trying to find some loop holds in the system. I may start my own security company, then obtain a privet detective linces through it. I will be the only person employed. I took a course a long time ago be for the advent of computers. If I become a Bail Bond Agent, I am only allowed to track my bonds, not others. There is no money in this. I'm not interested in bailing people out of jail, just returning them. I think the loop hole is to be employed by the Bail Bond Agency, all of them but not at the same time.
