I've watched "Dog-The Bounty Hunter" a few times.
I don't know enough about bounty hunters to give a true opinion of how "life-like", I find the show to be.
I have a friend, who know's a bit about bounty hunters and he says, the shows not very realistic.
It seems to "nice" and easy. Perhaps in some areas, when someone who has skipped bail is caught, says "Darn, you caught me!" but I seriously doubt it!!!
I saw the movie "Domino" today(10/18), based on a true story of a female bounty hunter by the name of Dominio Harvey. It was really enlightening, in some of the situations she encountered as a bounty hunter in the movie. I don't know how correct the movie was, but I could see some of the scenarios as real life scenario's a bounty hunter might possibly face.
I would like to know more about becoming a Bounty Hunter. Do you have to be 21 to become licensed? Is their any physical requirements? I would like to learn more indept about what your profession is like.
I'm in my second year of college as a Criminal Justice major, so i'm really starting to try to see what's out there. Thank you for your time, sorry it's taken me so long to reply!
Sincerely,
~Lindsay
