I love answering questions so I'd be glad to help :)
1. Yes I know who he is.
2. My fiance watches it so in turn I'd have to say: Yes, I've seen it.
3. I think he's funny, but I honestly didn't think he was a real "Bounty Hunter."He isn't as nice as the people I've met in your business area and doesn't seem to care about word of mouth referral, or plain old respect for fellow man. While yes, I am atheist, I do not agree with the fact that he seems to rationalize the cruel ways he treats some people with a prayer. My mother raised me to believe that you treat others the way you yourself would like to be treated. In light of that, I don't agree with the way he treats the people he comes across. It's as if he only respects his immediate family and not the general public. While I can respect what he thinks he is doing, I can't honestly say I respect the light he puts people like yourself in. I didn't get my interest in the Bonds business from him or from TV. To be real with you, my sister has been a convict and/or parolee since she was 12 years old: nearly 12 years now. I've been in the shoes of those people Mr. Chapman yells and curses at: The ones who pay the bail and don't know where the hell the fugitive is. That part personally pisses me off, pardon my language. I got interested when I was seventeen and realized that my experience with my sister and many other "bad guys" would be a good asset in some sort of business dealing with jailees etc. I mean like: Where would they go? What made them run? I've helped the police locate many a drug dealer or criminal by my experience in dealing with them. Even after that, the people that are busted hold no grudges against me and they are very respectful. They just know that I will try to uphold any law I can and that I will not lie if any man or woman of the law should they need information about someone I know. I respect them because they respect me. They know I am there to help them should they need help. I know that I can't do the highly physical part of the business (running etc.) So I have been trying to find either a part of the Bail Bonds Business (Skiptracing etc.) that can be maneuvered around my disabilities. I have always followed the law, so I can't be some big TV ex-outlaw like Mr. Chapman or anything like that. I don't hate Mr. Chapman or anything near that, I just don't think what he does is what I would like to do, or how I would like to portray myself.
4. I can't say Mr. Chapman or his show changes my opinion of any bail enforcement entity or agency, or sways it in any way. For his show to change my opinion on Bail Enforcement would be like Barney changing my idea of dinosaurs. He may be purple and fuzzy and able to speak, but that is just him and not the other dinosaurs. Make sense?
Hehe I appreciate you asking me questions to get a handle on my position. Thanks for actually taking an interest and not giving me a general answer! :)
If you need anything, graphic designs etc. just let me know. I do it in my free time, so it's always on the house haha
