Duane makes a good bounty hunter

in reply to your querry...yes i have watched the "Dog" quite a few times...
let me preface my opinion by telling you that i am a female, 45 yrs old, and i have been interested in the "industry" for many years, especially detective angles which is part of the bounty game from what i can see

i have led a VERY ???? "interesting" life and know my way in out and sideways of almost any lifestyle that i can imagine...i have, for various reasons, been involved in many "tracking quests" hunting down people who skipped out on some deals owing money or other goods in their wake, or finding out the degree of loyalty of persons who are trusted by someone in various endevours i think that bounty work would be something that i would enjoy because i love work that keeps me on my toes ( i currently work with adolescents with severe behavior/mental disorders) i also get the feeling that females may have an 'edge' in this business because they don't fit the typical mold

i think that Duane makes a good bounty hunter because he has "been there done that" and can relate to his clients as a result...i think that is an importiant factor in playing around in any endevours that walk you thru the edgier sides of life...

i can also see a change in him (and his crew) as the show has developed...they seem to be taking on a different personna, and personally i think they were much better off as they were in the beginning...its easy to let things go to your head, but walking around in the clouds can cause you to loose touch with reality and i think that can be detrimental in many ways.

my opinion of the industry hasn't been influenced by his show because, for one thing, ..... its T. V.!!!!!! television and reality are 2 different worlds also ..... his "territory" is on the islands which would be different than working on the mainland i am betting that there will be a peak in interest after the release of the Domino movie also many people are drawn to the glorified versions of what they believe a profession involves without knowing what the complete package entails
